    Only 15 minutes away from Batam Center Ferry Terminal stands a historical landmark in Batam, Tua Pek Kong Temple, also known as Vihara Budhi Bhakti. Tua Pek Kong is the oldest temple here and is heavily influenced by Chinese architecture. Visiting Tua Pek Kong would feel like time-traveling. Its interior is mostly classic red, lanterns are hanging down from the ceiling. Religious ceremonies are still being held here and this temple is still being used by the worshippers.
